This is a problem that almost every tuck driver encounters in the winter, usually when the vehicle has been parked overnight or has not been driven for a long time.
Solutions: (1) First of all, you can use the engine preheating function, slowly start the vehicle for several times, do not screw directly to the end, each interval last for 1-3 minutes, raise the engine temperature, the vehicle can be successfully started; (2) Check whether the battery has enough power, sufficient voltage, low power capacity will increase power consumption, remember to check and maintain regularly; (3) Antifreeze is essential, can not be replaced by water, liquor, or mixed antifreeze.
Two, the tank is frozen by diesel wax
Diesel contains a waxy component, its freezing point is relatively high, so in cold weather, it is prone to wax formation, which can also lead to the normal start of the vehicle. It is not advisable to bake the tank with open fire
Solutions: (1) Choose a tank equipped with a heating system or add fuel heating system; (2) Add coagulant to the tank to reduce the freezing point of fuel and thaw fuel; (3) According to the local temperature into the appropriate low label diesel; (4) Add a small tank or the use of double cavity tank, small capacity tank low label diesel fuel, more can save costs.
Three, the hand brake can not be opened
In winter, it is often found that the handbrake cannot be opened when the train starts in the morning/evening. This is mostly because there is water in the air road to freeze, resulting in unable to normally distribute the air pressure, and the main car is frozen and the trailer is frozen in two cases.
Solutions: ① Open the preheating switch of the drying tank before the vehicle starts, check whether the drying tank works normally regularly, and replace it if necessary; If the main car is frozen, pour some hot water on the four-circuit valve; (3) If the trailer is frozen, hot the three bridge valve with hot water first, and then disassemble and clean it.
Four, urea is frozen
Like diesel, urea also has a freezing point, generally at -11℃ below the temperature will appear icing phenomenon, at the same time, it is also like water, after icing will have a certain expansion, so in winter when adding urea, do not add too full, so as to avoid urea icing after bursting urea tank.
Solutions: (1) Before the vehicle starts to preheat for a while, so that the heating device in the urea system runs, defrost urea, similarly before stopping, can also wait for two or three minutes, urea liquid reflux clean and then turn off, to prevent the pipeline from freezing and cracking; (2) Add vehicle urea modifier to reduce the freezing point; ③ Pour hot water on the urea tank, tighten the lid, and be careful not to let water flow into the urea tank.
Five, high and low speed conversion is difficult
In cold weather, the viscosity of transmission oil increases, the gear operation is difficult, the gas path of the shift valve produces a certain resistance, or the gas path is blocked, there is water and rust icing, which will cause the high and low speed conversion of the vehicle is difficult, or even cannot be converted.
Solution: (1) Start the vehicle to preheat for a while or drive a distance can be restored to normal; (2) Remove the vent hole of the high and low grade h valve, clean the oil mud inside and then install it; ③ Pour the shifting rubber ring with hot water; ④ Install a new trachea.
Six, the warm wind is not hot to blow the wind
Winter driving must warm air, only the temperature in the car to a comfortable temperature, driving up will be more comfortable, however, in the process of use, there will often be a warm wind but blowing out of the cold wind, or blowing out of the wind problem.
Solution: (1) Check whether the engine water temperature is in a low temperature state, the temperature is not enough to blow out the wind is certainly not hot; (2) The warm air tank is blocked and needs to be removed for cleaning or replacement; (3) Insufficient coolant leads to decreased heat exchange efficiency, and timely filling; (4) Air filtration dirty resulting in small air volume or no air, to replace a new air conditioning filter element.
Seven, tire skid
Winter road conditions are poor, and the tire is very sensitive to temperature, easy to harden and brittle at low temperature, friction will decrease, plus the truck braking distance is large, a little careless, there will be rear-end collision, rollover accident, so we need to pay special attention to the problem of winter truck tire skid.
Solution: (1) Tire pattern wear serious should be replaced in time, before each trip out to remove the stone in the pattern, check the tire pressure, wear, always remember to drive carefully and safely; ② Snow and ice sections should be installed anti-skid chain, the speed is not more than 50km/h, and the anti-skid chain should be removed in time after driving out of the snow and ice sections, so as to protect the tires and save fuel consumption.
Eight, the wiper is frozen
Wipers play a great role in rain and snow weather, and when the temperature is too low, the vehicle parked overnight or for a long time, the wiper will also be frozen, at this time direct watering and forced start practice, are not desirable.
Solution: ① develop the habit of standing up the windshield wiper before stopping the car to prevent freezing; ② The use of good quality wiper, in case of low temperature weather rain scraping cracks, breaks; ③ Open the warm air in the car, after a certain time, the ice on the front windshield will melt, thaw the wiper; ④ Use a special vehicle deicing shovel to remove the surface ice.
